    Hi Shogun;
    I've gotten the gaskets a few days after you mailed them. That was fast for international mail in my opinion.

    Thanks !

    What is the rim for? My visor sometimes stays really stuck turned on if I turn it horizontally and try to turn it back after blocking the sun. What causes this? I just don't touch it, because I'm afraid one day I won't be able to get it to turn off.

    Charles,
    the toothed rim is for the gear of the rear sunshade, that toothed rim gets damaged over the years. See here the pics
    http://www.bimmernut.com/forum/swap-...-sunblind.html
    there is a small and a large gear part, my one is the large one as shown in the pics. When damaged, it usually starts to rattle and may not close or open completely, as part of the teeth are worn.
    Because the gear motor only switches off by increasing ampere, but it is designed to always run a few seconds longer to cope with different expansion of the sunshade mechanism due to heat, dirt etc, so these last few seconds damage the gear over the years.
    Best is you open the gear as shown in the link and have a look at it before you order it, maybe also different causes.

    @Regal
    1 set for your E34 is in the way to TN, thanks

    I hope you are as happy as bleudyno, he asked me some time ago:
    Hi shogun, you got a lot of praise for you e34 door handle seals. Do you still sell them? The ebay ones are pieces of crap and don't fit right. You're set will fit perfectly right? Let me know and I'll paypal you. Thanks!
    2 weeks later after he ordered my ones:
    I received your package and installed them already. They fit like a glove! Thanks so much!

    @dan:1 set for E34 540 sent to Moroga, CA , and here already added the reply from him: Got them a few days ago in the mail. The packaging is organized thoughtfully, and the gaskets are rubbery and flexible. Installation was a snap. Thanks Shogun.

    Comment by Henry: Hi Shogun, I understand you sell door handle gaskets for the E34 that fit? (I had a poor experience buying some on eBay that did not). The car is an Oct'88 Build M20B25, the door handles are metallic (not plastic like have seen on the E36). I would be looking for a set of 4 gaskets to cover all doors with shipping to Woollahra, NSW, Australia.
