    Default Chevy wheels on BMW

What is the consensus regarding 4 3/4" bolt circle Chevy wheels on BMs?
120.65mm is awful damn close and .325mm, the distance each bolt would be off seems like it would be within manufacturing tolerances.
Jon K, aren't you using this? Any trouble, lugs stay tight?

Not hubcentric, but I think Cooter knows how to put Chevy S-10 rims on a BMW.

4.75 inch = 120.65 millimeters I would venture a guess that they will bolt right on no problem.

In the oposite scenario...I ran some extra E34 wheels on my GMC Syclone awd for some time with zero issue. Althought it did confuse some onlookers in traffic.

Its been my daily for about 7 years . Love it. Particularly a boost launch from a dig against a Vette. Priceless expressions. I'm in the middle of painting right now. Went away with the semi-flat black cladding and shot them all BMW Artic Grey. Then I've got 18x9.5 Z06 Vette f spoke wheels and 6 piston brakes de-Vett logo'd for it. I'm still making the brake brackets and I just have the cab forward to spray.....here is an old pic just before I started on the black parts.

Don't be silly. Just sidepipes and jacking up the rear end for L60s on Cragers.
I bought a set of snow(water vapor condensed into tiny ice crystals)tires to fit to the wifes E39. they were already mounted on wheels from a '98 Firebird. I haven't bothered to look at hub size or anything but found the bolt circle tempting.

Thanks, yes...I feel fortunate to have one of the first 1000 of 2900 made. Its been a trouble free vehichle for me.....but most owners don't daily drive them and let them sit alot. Not good.

Also not good....is me hi-jacking the content of this thread.

In the bad old days there was a similar "close" match between BMW`s and Vauxhalls in the UK, 100mm and 4" and a bit. Worked fine til you tried hard, the the studs gave up,caused a lot of Opels to fall off the road.
