Default Will these LEDs work in our BMW's?

I found this while searching for an audio IC. They look like the bulbs that are found throughout our BMW's! I can't read the language so I don't know the story on them, really. Will these work in place of the typical bulbs?

They would work, except they would trip the computer into thinking there's a problem with that circut.

Example: I installed 48LED White Bulb for my front turn signal's, the light's work and flash, however since led's don't have a filament, the computer thinks the circut is open and displays a message as well as flashing the light bulb quickly.

Installer a 1 OHM resistor in the circut and all should be fine...I haven't gotten around to doing it yet.

The language is Polish. Use google for translation.
I recently went to a large electronic shop to find such bulbs for the cluster. Many available looking similar like the above, but did not find exactly the same type of bulb holder. So better take exact measurements.

Those LEDs look as if they're meant to be used as replacements for the bulbs that illuminate the cluster - i.e. the speedometer and tacho etc.

I don't think that the cluster bulbs have any sensors to determine if the bulb is blown. By contrast, the headlight bulbs (which are a different size/shape from the LEDs of AngryPopTart's link) are monitored by the LKM.

Has anyone found a LED replacement bulb for the OBC Lights? My OBC Illumination bulbs seem to blow out every 2 weeks. - JT

John, maybe you bought the wrong ones. The parts catalog is wrong. If you get green sockets, they are 6V, you need 12V = black socket. 12V is shown on the base of the bulb socket. 12V lasts for many years.

I have definitely been getting the wrong bulbs if I need the black ones. I have gotten from the dealer and BMA many times the green based ones. Do you know the part# for the Black base ones or will the counter parts guy know the differences? - JT

And if you forget to write it down, it is the 'clock' bulb in the parts diagram. only the OBC ones are incorrectly listed.
