Default Sach Kits - opinions please

    Hi guys,

New user here.. I have a 1990 bmwe34, and I would like to lower the car such that the front fender sits snugly atop the tire with NO gap to speak of. I have seen many kits including eibach/bilstein combos that bring the car down 1.5 in the front and something similar in the read, however, I would like at least a 2 inch drop in the front.

Having seen the SACH kits on the bmwe34.net website, I am curious as to the quality of these kits; I haven't heard of SACH.

Does anyone have this kit? Is it good/bad? opinons?

    THanks!

    Default Here you go

The ride is firm yet comfortable. The handling is much better. The kit is $640 with shipping from BMA Autoparts. http://www.bmaautoparts.com

nice.. i am a bit surprised that the front end doesn't sit lower.. my stock ride is only a little higher than yours.. i wonder if that means the fender will sit right on the tire

anyway.. thanks for posting, your car looks great!

    Default I like mine.

I just put one on my wife's 540 and I like the way it rides. After putting the 18's on I noitced that the ride height was about the same as stock. Less fender opening but same ground clearance. Overall a good kit.

did you adjust the coilover to sit at its lowest? I really want that fender to sit right on the tire..

    Default Love the Sachs

    Hey folks,

I've had my sachs kit for over 2 years now. Still amazing. Great ride and handling. If you want the fender to sit just over the tire, this kit may not be for you. It's probably as close as you will get with a high quality major brand. Otherwise, you'd be looking at some of those lesser-known brands, but I'd be cautious of their quality.
