    Default Thrust Arms, the tools.

Can someone give me a list of exactly what tools i'll need and any trick that can be used to be more efficient when taking off the thrust arms? Like what sockets, what wrenches and sprays if necessary. In my tie rod experience and pry bar and hammer works well.

The thrust arm ball joint nut looks difficult to get to, it seems.

Just done the job today so it's fresh in my mind!

    You need:
    22mm box end wrench
    22mm socket
    Breaker bar
    Ratchet
    Scissor type balljoint seperator
    WD40?

However, I have my old arms there - one is fine and the other has a ripped bush... Both balljoints are fine. What are your plans???

What... It's not broken??? I can still fix it

I need badly the left side thrust arm and theres one at the salvage yard that is relatively new.

    Just 22mm wrenches and sockets?

    what about 19 and 17mm?

You need a scissor type ball joint spreader to remove them without damaging the boot or the ball joint of the nicer thrust arm. Get both side.

You also need IIRC a 17mm spanner for the balljoint. Might be a 19, but I tend to think its 17. I prefer the balljoint separator that looks like an overgrown chain splitter. Replace both side's bushes.
