Default Picked up the 135 yesterday...

Wow. Just wow. This is one quick son of a bitch. On the freeway, drop her into 4th to pass at 4000rpm and she rips.

Yesterday she was learning how to drive stick. Today, I get the car because erm... I have to get it tinted It's the only chance I'll get to drive it before it's adorned with girly stuff.

I don't know what to say... except I'd get one, if it I couldnt buy two e39 M5s (almost) for that money!

She was super surprised, to say the least.

135 or 125?! The 135i is !!! why wait till 4000 (o you were on the highway)? the torque flat lines at 1500rmp and then tapers off around 4500-5000 I think

    135. Yeah, it's .

Why 4000? Old habit. The 135 makes peak torque like 1300rpm. The 540 peaks at 3500 or so, so I hadn't adjusted.

On that note, I can actually rip the car and pass in 5th (drop from 6th). Man.

So. 300KM later. The car is nuts over 3700RPM in second or third. The torque makes it tail happy. Traction light flickers like christmas tree. Of course, it could be the release agents on the tires not worn off yet.

Car is fast but scary. 160 in the e39 is stable, quiet, safe. In this car, it feels like I'm on crack.

    Gimme a 'sedate' e39 M5

135i is insane fun to drive, I got to drive a couple about 2 weeks before release and the looks we had on the road were great, especially when you drop it to second and blast off into the distance. Serious weapon.

Old car: 95 525i, OB/Silver, Eibachs, Style 66, Missed dearly!!

oh, so now it's a modded car against a stock car? in that case, my friend has a 60's mini cooper that would eat the 135 alive
