Default Supercharging an E34 535, questions??

Hi, just joined as I have bought a nice 535i sport E34. I am looking to fit an Eaton supercharger. I only have the S/C not a whole kit.

My main questions are around engine management. I am reluctant to use an aftermarket ecu unless there is a cheap option. Can i use the original ECU, if so, how do i control fueling and timing?

    Any help would be appreciated.

if you can solder proficiently you can build a megasquirt computer to run it on for maybe $4-500 for everything (the ms unit a wide band 02 sensor and the adapter), a guy developed a adapter board to hook into the stock harness plug so it's nearly plug and play

ps you will need other things like bigger injectors to run boost but you could run the motor on the ms with all of the stock stuff to get everything up and running then build the blower

try this. Jason, Redfive Racing, One Lap both here and on the web. He was a poster a while ago that did a lot of work to fit a supercharger on his E34. While he got it to work, I recall he gernaded the engine due to fueling problems.
