    Default Wisdom of using Supersprint exhaust manifold on M50 engine

    folks, i got handed (free) a supersprint exhaust manifold (extractor) for m50 engine - full stainless steel and mandrel bent.

    how much HP would i gain vs the stock OEM BMW (cast in) exhaust manifold?

    i want to know versus the trouble/risk of taking off the OEM exhaust manifold and possibly breaking one or more studs (how high is the possibility?)

    i removed mine fairly easy, just need a 11mm and a universal joints...

    We could probably find this on the www, but what does it/they look like? (pics) Not sure whather it would give you anything, bmw do their homework. A different sound, maybe.

    you will not see much hp gain. stock manifolds flow relatively well. go for it though, why not. it's not that hard to put a header on
