    Those are Adel-Wiggins clamps -they only come purple... they are amazing

    Looks like it gets the job done! (and really well!)
    Why purple clamps? Not bashing, just curious!

    I was just thinking that, unless Jon is using solid motor mounts, that engine's gonna shift something awful on spool-up...

    Unless there's some flex in it there that I'm missing?

    you aren't worried about engine motion cracking the piping??
    I would have expected you to use a bellows coupler to allow some motion as the engine moves.

    Why would I use wiggins clamps and then put a coupler in the middle?

    Have you used a wiggins clamp? There are not rigid. They both twist and deflect. The whole point to using wiggins clamps is to have a very sturdy, leak-proof charge pipe.

    And look at any car with Wiggins clamps:






    They're used on aircraft for their ability to flex and hold an insane amount of pressure without leaking. They are used for air, fuel, water, etc.

    AngryPopTart - they are from aircraft, not used on vehicles in the OEM.
