AirCon controller exchangeability
Hi guys 2 questions for the day
1st.
Can I swap the manual slider aircon(pic1) controller with the auto horizontal dial one(pic2), is it at all possible? I have the "option code 530 air conditioning"
2nd.
Can someone give me a hint about how to disengage the wires that are attached to the licenceplate lights, they´re giving me hell and I cant get the wires off..I even have 2 new used ones with cut wires and for the love of god, the dang wires just won´t come off..

1: no, and the manual one is better and more reliable.
2: why are you changing the Lp lights? errors are almost always harness... not the lights themselves... I took mine out... but that was july 06 on the second day I owned it. probably used a pick tool to get them to release???

The lights I want to change coz the whole lamp housing on one of them is falling apart, no errors... yet
Aircon aint broke, just wondering as someone gave me an autocontroller for free

That auto controller will be useful to someone with an E32

Used a lot of brute force and got the lic lights disconnected, belows why
The P.O. had used the wrong 12V 10W bulbs in them, so they are melted and somewhat corroded..
