Default Vibrations! bbs rc's from 8 series

Hello, new boy here, impressed with forum!
Im the proud owner of a (U.K)e34 525i se 168,325 miles, personley clocked 10k+ as bought it a year ago 'what a good motor'.
I've just put a set of BBS RC two peice wheels on =fronts read(RC 009) (8JX17 H2 1910) (1 181 887) = and the rears read(RC 010) (9JX17 H2 1919) (1 181 888). Have been told there from an eight? my regular tyre fitter strongley recomended i have the same size tyre size all round he fitted
235/45ZR17 (front) 235/45R17 (rear) + wheels balanced and tracking adjusted. I previously had no vibration with my old 17 replica throwing stars. The shuddering occurs at about 50-60 mph, how depressing.
Are they a straight fit (hub rings)?
Your view on tyre size (rear)?
    Maybe something else?
I have been advised to change back to e34 spec wheels but for looks these wheel have got it.
    Thanks for reading this.

The part numbers for style 5s from an E31 are
    36 11 1 181 187 & 36 11 1 181 888
You just missed the first few digits, but it looks like your wheels did come off an E31 so they shouldn't need hub rings. I have been running the same size tires for a couple years with no issues, so tire size isn't the issue.
You should get them re-balanced. I had the same problem and I just needed the front wheels re-balanced.

Had them balanced, phew! Thats much smoother. The tyre fitter showed one of them being way out.
Now for the refurb, been advised to purchase all new bolts/studs before they dismantle the wheels. Any other advise?
    Thanks again.

You shouldn't need new bolts and studs, unless they are in really bad shape.
From what I've heard, they are pretty expensive. Here is a link I was going to use to refurb mine. Mine ended up being bent so I never ended up trying this. I wasn't going to bother clear coating them, I think they look better with out it. I had the BBS RS's in my sig pic which had no clear and they were fairly easy to keep clean. If they got bad I just used a little Autosol and they looked like new.
