    Default Exhaust for 525i

Any suggestions? I mainly am looking for (in this order)
    A) Better performance
    B) Better sound (let me put it this way, when I come home at 12:00 am I don't want to wake the neighbors)

How about a cherry bomb?!(just kidding)

I like the sound of this one:

Is sounds alot like this one with a straight pipe:

Do you think they're both running no mufflers? Obviously, the guy has split the exhaust in the rear on the first car, but they sound the same aside from that.

I had the exhaust off my car after the cat once, but I didn't hear what it sounds like on the outside. While it did sound good on the inside, I also became deaf for the rest of the evening, lol!

Look into Remus exhausts. They cost quite a bit they aren't too too loud. They do open quite nice when you're WOT but don't really drone much. Here's a clip of my 535i with a Remus catback: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhJELQvLSJA

I heard a Remus on a '95 M-Sport and really liked it. Unfortunately they no longer make anything for the 540 so I'm S.O.L., but they still make a lot of things for the 525.

Anyone know about supersprint? How loud are they?
Also! How hard is it to convert a 535i exhaust to a 525i? I'm not talking full system just the muffler.

just need to adapt the pipe size from the small 525 to the larger 535, could probably just slip the 535 pipe over the 525 pipes and weld, i installed the complete catback from a 750il onto my 535 with a little welding
