    Default Wheel alignment

I think my front wheels are misaligned because the driver's side tyre is showing unusually more wear than the passenger side. I suspect the driver's side tyre could be toeing-in because the wear is much greater towards the outside of the tyre.

I want to learn how to do alignment myself, so could someone here post a pic of the tie-rod and tell me the basics for how to adjust the alignment.

    Thanks,
    Mas

Take it to a pro. This is not a job to goof around with if you want it dead on right

but to answer your question turn it one way to add more toe in to both wheels and the other to take it out. Do them evenly and your steering wheel won't be cockeyed.

If it is just one wheel it is very probable that you have parts that need replacing and are worn out. You can;t have one wheel toe'd in.

jack it up and see what is FUBAR. Upper mounts, tie rod, ball joints, etc.

Attack Eagle is right on the nail. But so you know: the track rods are threaded at the ends so you can adjust them. But the same number of threads must be showing at each side or it will pull. If you have, say, a worn track rod end, then adjustment is pointless. It will never stay put. Check for any worn components and if you cant find any, take it to be tracked. Be cheeky - ask the guy to point out any problems
