My brother bought a 1995 E36 328i Sport Coupe about 4 months ago. During the first month of service it was fine. It then however developed a very sticky gear change. He was told by a mechanic it was the gearbox, so the mechanic changed it for a used but slighty newer one, no different! During use with the newer gearbox the problem developed to a point that sometimes when stationery in first gear with the clutch to the floor the car one creep forward as though the clutch was still slight engaged!! So the clutch was changed. No difference there either, if fact much much worse with the new clutch so much so it is virtualy un-driveable as enaging gear is a nightmere! You can almost feel a pulsing through the pedal at this stage. After this the mechanic has also, yesterday, changed the clutch hydrualics, master and slave cylinder and bleed the system! No change still the same?? Anyone any ideas? Many thanks, Craig.
