am getting the low oil level message on startup and shutdown.from what i have read here there is a sender in the sump which would normally be the first thing to check but usually after the oil message also get brake light and boot lid errors
understand lkm does lights but would it also control boot and oil level?
just trying to work out where to start checking
geoff
Maybe its just a conincidence. The oil level sender unit is on the sump of the oil pan, very easy to change, but also requires a gasket and new oil after. Also,, check the wires if they chaved or got damaged somehow before changing the level sender as it's probably very expensive.Originally Posted by compmore
As for the Trunk Lid and Brake light, check the wiring harness for lose connections.
