    Default Manual swap. Clutch help

I'm doing a manual swap on my 535i and i'm using a single mass flywheel. what i was wondering is do i have to use a clutch and pressure plate from an E28 also?

    thanks

Yes, get an e28 m30 single-mass 240 mm pressure plate and spring-center clutch disk. Get the e28 slave cyl and throw-out bearing too.

The newer slave cyl will work but will not depress the clutch diaphram as far. The e34 slave has a 22.2 mm diameter piston but the earlier single-mass pressure plates have a slave with a 20.64 mm piston, altering the pedal pressure and stroke.

I really won't make much difference. I've made the same mistake twice now and ordered the newer cyl without thinking, for the 2 swaps I've done and they work fine.
