    Default Update for my Situation

    Just incase anyone cared.

First off, I highly advise you be nice to your insurance company. First thing I told them was to take their time (although that might have been a mistake considering it took a month) and that I was willing to negotiate, yes... I told THEM that.

It did take awhile, but after being nice (and persistent) I finally got a settlement that surprised the hell out of me. I got a check for $8,561.80 USD, and I got to keep the car with a CLEAN title! Now its time to decide what's going to happen to her.

I've run into a great money situation recently so I'm really in no hurry to make up my mind

I'd love to keep it and fix it, but to buy a different one wouldn't hurt. It's tempting considering I've been driving my boss's M5 for the last week.

    Kthxbye.

How on earth did you 'negotiate' a $8000+ windfall?? You've got serious options.

Congatulations, good things (occasionally) come to those who wait,

Did you ever take any picts and post them of the damage?

So any chance of keeping your car, the check, and your boss' M5?

That sounds like enough to fix her. I picked up a 530 wrecked in front, if you need anything aft of the front doors I've got it.
If you decide to loose the car I want the wheels!
