    Default removeable tow bar(hitch)

    any one with a sedan post up a pic of where and how the "hitch?" is stowed in the "trunk"...sedan not touring.A mate has the westphalia hitch and stowage bracket but he doesnt know where it goes in.

    The storage bracket mounts on the right side behind the tail light. It requires two holes be drilled in the body. The side carpet panel is different to accomodate the tow bar. I chose not to mount mine the correct way because I didn't want to drill two holes just for the storage bracket and I also like to have the storage container on the right (which you can't have with the tow bar stored behind it). Instead I wrap mine in an old heavy towel and store it under the boot carpet in the large rectangular recess between the two shock towers.

    I have no photo with me but I may have one on my PC at work.

    thanks myles,i know can see what you are sying.I have seen an M5 with a proper "hitch" and i though the boot panels looked different

    Here's my removable hitch - you can just about see the bracket that it clips into.
