    Default I need a U.S. version cluster code plug/chip

    I got a request from one of the chip wizzards in Germany for a spare U.S. version cluster code plug.
    U.S. version has some features incoprorated which are not on the ECE versions, for example
    warning sign 'belts on?', 'side markers' and so on.
    Does someone have a spare one he does not need anymore or which he can sent directly to Germany for some time to copy?
    U.S. version only, not ECE.

    Thanks for your help.

    yep,
    I did not forget you. Will ask him too. But probably you have to send it to him for the "modification".

    definitely not, they like in Germany the additional 'gongs' and warnings such as
    side lights? (German cars have no side lights, but they add these from US models)
    seat belts?
    ignition key?
    and what else you have in the US

    So he needs a U.S. chip to read the system and to copy that into German chips.
    All these basic data are in the chip in the cluster.

    @Jon K
    Just sent you his address for airmaling your chip there, he will do it for you, whatever you want to have indicated. Send it to him.
    If you have different wheels/tires/differential/final drive and the speed indicator is not working properly, he can also readjust that, I assume.
    Just tell him what you want.

    @Blitzkrieg Bob:
    details in PM, thanks

    Put it on German Ebay, offer it as
    "THE US GONG VERSION, SPECIAL EDITION"

    Probably you get a very nice price then
