    Default Ahh minty fresh!

So part of my new engine/turbo/etc is painting the engine bay satin black. I was going to just rough up the original radiator support and spray it, but then I thought about the E34 M5 my friend was parting out and this piece is relatively useless to anyone trying to sell it. So, I grabbed it, and after 3 - 4 hrs of bead blasting, it's doen to bare metal awaiting powder coat!

I know this is a stupid post I am just proud/excited to see this little guy in satib black after having been brought all the way down to clean metal. It took a while - the paint/primer BMW uses is pretty good stuff!

This last pic shows you the cleanliness of it - I will probably go over it once more in a wide fan spray just to get off any grease/grime that may have touched it in transit. I am thinking about shaving some of the bolt holes and stuff, as they are not necessary. What do you guys think? Worth it since our hood opens from teh front? I am leaning no.

I should start doing before/after shots. This thing was very much avus blue haha.
