    Default Some turbo build progress

Got the downpipe fabricated for my build. It doesn't look tight/difficult but that down pipe is 4.0" diameter! Its a very tight fit but I am content with how it cam e out. It makes my former 3.0" downpipe look pathetic.

And here is the pipe after I fully TIG welded it:

After I did that I removed the intake manifold, wiring harness, coolant hoses, etc., and the motor is now ready to be removed so I can clean the engine bay and ultimately paint it black and drop in the new engine when its done.

why impossible jon? as far as i can figure all you have to get round is the steering rod to the steering box, yeah it might screw up the flow a bit, but with a little squeezing here and there surley it could be done, nice fusion welding btw

if 4" is a very tight fit with no steering box in the way, imagine what it's like with the steering box in the way
