    Default sick 95 Touring

Got a call from a friend, and this is what he's got.

    95 525 iT

Cars runs rough, stalls and backfires.

He's changed the plugs, but they get fouled quickly.

I recommended he check his ICV and MAF.

    what do you guys think?

    Backfires at intake or exhaust?
Fouled plugs lead me to think something more serious than say a vacuum leak. Valve timing, flat cam?

    Weak ignition perhaps, valve timing.
Hope he gets it sorted that's a mighty expensive muffler to blow up.

It might be a big vacuum leak at intake: It might be the connector in the back of the intake manifold. Clip of connector is broken and connector slipped out.
Connector which connects manifold and Idle control valve.
    I had this problem. Martin
