Default I'm thinking of debadging my car

I kinda want to take the badging off the rear of my car. Is it easy to do without ruining the paint? and can it be reapplied easily enough? Also what will be left underneath it...will it still show the "shadow" of 525i? I'm assuming so clay bar would get it out
    Thanks

Best bet is to warm it up (either sit it facing the sun for an afternoon or use a hairdryer) then use fishing line to get down behind and "slice" them off, then clean residue with clay bar as you say or lighter fluid.

Dunno about putting them back on!

It will show on a car that old, no matter what you do ... I removed the pinstripe when I had my 525 and I couldn't get the paint to match where it was ... ended up restriping the car.
