Default Unusual problem under the car.....

While in process of removing the oil pan in the 535, I was dropping the subframe. Then I notice that the driver's side sway bar mount where it bolts to the body frame rail area only had the large bolt snugged down and there was only one of the two smaller bolts hanging on by just a few threads; the other smaller bolt is gone! Apparently the previous owner stripped the threads because the small bolts (bought 2 from the dealer) will not torque down tight. What would the best safe thing/repair remedy? Drill it out and helicoil it? I have applied locktight to the threads for now. Thanks for any input.

You might find an SAE fastener just a hair larger that will work if you run the appropriate tap down the hole first. Beats drilling, tapping, Heli-coil.
