light in radio is out

Has anyone replaced the bulb in their radio display? How much of a pain is this? 1990 535i m.

I have never done it, but if I was going to I would probably replace it with an LED instead of a bulb.

In fact, I have been thinking about replacing my dash bulbs with LEDs (unless they already are)
