    Default Busted Rocker

Just to prove you guys in the States aren,t the only ones into barnyard mechanicing - Heres one I made earlier !!! Rocker snapped on me (old age and too many high revs) and I needed to shift the 5 cylinder car to somewhere to make permanent repairs. So drilled the rocker bolted a bit of steel to it, added a jubilee clip for good measure, and to look profesional!!. Got it back to 5 1/2 cylinders and drove it about 60 miles to get it into my workshop. M30 - good old fashioned low tech lump, a bit like me really!

    Congratulations on your resourcefulness.
I doubt you will be able to employ a "jubilee clip" to repair all the destroyed engine bearings once those metal chips find there way into the oiling system.
Wash that **** out of it now if it's not already too late.

    Fellas
There is a limit to how rough I,d be even when really bodging something up!!!
There were bits of rag stuffed down holes during the drilling and the vacumn cleaner came out and shifted the swarf before the old dog was started up. Photos were taken after assembly and before clean up.
