    Default wheel/tire Q

I know the 16 inch wheels from an e38 740i will fir my car but a coworker wants to sell me his old set for 200bucks including the spare.

Can I run around with the 235/60 ZR16 tires that are on the 16s now?

Stock "Bottle Cap" type rims come with 205/65/15 size tires. I think if you go +1 you will need to use at least a size 215/55/16 tire depending on the width of the rim. You can calculate this by using a "Tire Calculator" you can find on the web. Hope this helps.

No. Too much sidewall, they will rub. I put 225/55/16 on mine. But I would like to know if I can go wider somehow.
