Okay, it's my turn to ask for help. The last few days I have felt a slight surging under light to medium acceleration, regardless of engine temp. Today, the idle is now 1000 rpm and power loss is very noticeable, it even sounds different. Engine starts are normal, hot or cold. Recent maintenance includes new fuel filter, plugs, igintion wires, 19 lb injectors, distributor cap and rotor, and O2 sensor (less than 5000 miles). Air filter looked clean so I didn't wash it (K&N drop-in...yeah, yeah, yeah, I know!). I was considering a new fuel pressure regulator to compliment the injectors, and now I am thinking that might be my problem anyway, I'm pretty sure it's orignal. Unplugging the vacuum line gives a very small increase in idle speed (100-200), but I don't have the means right now to do fuel a pressure test. Possibly the AFM is off a little but I don't think so, I cleaned the contact strip inside and reindexed the vane about 8 months ago. Opinions please!
