    Default Need guidance

I don't know what upgrade to do next. So i could spend about $200ish. I have rear headrests in mind but i'll save that for alter. I don't wanna spend 120 on the dinan chip right now. SO what can i do to make the most of my money spent?

You don't mention audio, so I'll pitch in that I'm so totally in love with any head unit I can plug an ipod into. Spend a decent bit on a head unit now, and pick up an ipod later.

I have a Sony head unit and it's lights up red to it kinda matches the interior lights in the dark but I'm eying that CD43.

I don't care too much for audio but I am interested in that Infinity BassLink unit.

I've got a jvc kd-g820. Full spectrum of colors. Mine match my dash lights PERFECTLY

I've got a sub in the trunk, I got the amp as part of a combo deal with two subs from Best Buy for $129. I ditched the two subs and bought another from craiglist for $35. Spent about $40 at home depot on wood, and about $30 on a scrolling jigsaw. Some screws, some speaker carpet, some glue... about another $30. Audio install kit can be had for $25 if you shop around.

So to review, amps and subs can be bought used cheap, but new you can get a combo deal for about $100-150

    Box materials $75
    Install kit $25

You're talking between $200-250 to build your own sub box, and spend a day putting it all together and installing it. It's silly simple, and it sounds great. It's also pretty small so I keep my trunk space. It's a 600w Sony xplod bridged to put out 250w rms. I've got an xplod 1100w cone, rated at 300w rms. I don't recall the ohms, I think it's 4 ohms... been over two years since I built it.

My point is that for fair money, you can have a really decent hard hitting sub that won't break the bank.

Why not track down a 'rare' e34 part, like a refrigerator, or some M-sport door handles? Adding an elusive part adds to the grin factor!

In the back seat armrest area. Have a look at this, it's a really cool item to have. I wish I had one!
