In the USA, BMW plush carpet mats from BMW NA are made by a supplier in-country. They seem to be better than anyone's alternative sold after-market. The rubber mats from the dealer I believe are made in Germany, or at least the same as those sold world-wide as BMW parts. Plush carpet mats carry and accessory part number (82-group) and most rubber ones have a normal body-trim group 51 number. Circle BMW's web site shows a $130 list for BMW carpet mats with a sale price of $95. If you can get real "BMW" mats for $85 that's probably a good price.

Even if you look the parts up on RealOEM.com, you'll see the USA cars have a different part number than either the "city" or "country" mats you find if you select "Europe" in the vehicle selection.
