Rain Gutter Trim Replacement

I'm about to put the rain gutter trim back on my car after having the roof repainted. I have plenty of new plastic clips, etc. but wondered if anybody out there has done this and has any tips on installation?

I did it a while ago. It was not a good thing to do. The plastic clips kept on rolling off the edge. It was caused by slightly thicker paint on the body than there should have been. I can't really offer any suggestions other than to make sure that you put the new clips in exactly the right spots. Be patient and careful not to damage anything.
