I adjusted mine a while back, back when I replaced the cables and brake shoes. It would grab nicely for a while (4 clicks to hold the car) but now its back to usual. I want it to grab well all the time. What gives?

Thanks Gale. We now have no excuse to drive around with blocks of wood in the trunk.

Thanks Don, wish I had these the first time I disassembled my parking brake back when you were helping me but I got through it okay.

When I was rebuilding the rear end, I hadn't put the parking brake back until I made sure everything was working.

One day, I was teaching my lil sis to drive, and first had to explain that "In drivers ed, they tell you to first remove the parking brake. Unfortunately, this car has no parking brake. Park on something level. "

    Nice write up Gale.
Now perhaps a tutorial on the handbrake turn.
Shouldn't you be making good on that badge taped to the rear of your car?

Working on it. Still need to send the turbo in for a full rebuild, $575 is the best price I found so far for new impellers, new shaft, new center bearing, & full dynamic balance. Things are going about half-fast at the home front (not to be confused with half-assed). Got too many projects ahead of the turbo job, but it will be nice when it gets done. Hoping for about 100 bolt-on horsepower. Any more than that will be frosting on the cake.
