525 engine to replace v8 530
How much work is required to replace a 530 v8 with a 24v 2.5 engine.
What ancillaries from the 3.0 fit the 2.5?
will the air con compressor fit the 2.5 or will new brackets (and more) be required?

Remember that a lot of other things in the engine compartment are different for the V8 cars. PS, brake booster, coolant overflow tank, etc. Maybe even a different steering box? Then there's the drivetrain differences... axles, driveshaft, diff, transmission...
Suffice to say if you're serious about it, you'll want to have a whole 6-cyl donor car to make sure you can get everything.
