Default Window closure system not working

The window closure system in my 535i has stopped working (when you hold the key in the fully locked position) I haven't a clue where to start looking for causes. Is there a fuse or something that might be at fault? I don't have keyless entry or an alarm that might cause any problems.

    thanks for any help

Did all 535s do that? I'll have to go out and try my car to see if that works. Just turn to lock and hold like on the new VW's?

Yeah, i found that out by accident. lol

I worked at VW a few months ago and i was like "Stupid VWs and their conveniences features" as i was locking my car and i was holding it on the lock position and i saw my windows roll up. I was so excited. I bragged to all my friends with their new hondas and fords how an '89 has so many ****ing features.

I think I'd start with a full computer system reset. Disconnect the battery for several hours.
