    Default Voltage

Can someone tell me why Im getting 10.3 V at the right headlight plug and over 12V at the left. Wheres the closest grounding point upstream of that plug?
Anybody experienced this before? Resoldered LKM, bent Contact on relay as suggested, nothig! Now thinking of putting the LKM in without the cover and checking the relays. This is frustrating!!!

You've probably got a bad ground somewhere. Check all your ground points and look for corrosion.

Look for a buch of brown wires on the radiator core support. Each headlight is served by a seperate relay I think too. They have been reported to fail occasionally.

No, there is ONE relay inside the LKM for the dip lights, but 2 output contacts.
    1 RELAY only!

Most extraordinary!!!Found the grounding point behind the washer reservoir. Removed it and gave it a good clean and put it back on. Was able to get a little over 12V at the yellow plug. NOW.. put everything back and turn light on: @#%&$# Nothing!! Bulb cheked ok,. Removed the black cover and disconnect the two wires at globe and receptacle,Check voltage at the wires with plug connected: nothing! So Im getting 12V at the plug but nothing going into the globe! Whats happening?

Try running your own ground and see what happens. That will tell you if you've got a problem with your ground wire, or if you should look elsewhere.
