    Default Dead Touring

    Oh joy,

    5:30 am

Wife hopped into the Touring and it's dead....

Starter won't crank, but lights and accesories work...So we pushed out of the drive way and left it for dead until I can take a look at it

    Hmmmm what could it be?

    Default Starter Solinoid

1st thing that comes to mind is the starter solenoid. At least make sure one of the smaller wires get power when the key is in the start position. If the you get power to the solenoid only when in the start position then it rules out the key switch, auto trans shift lever switch and any antitheft devices. If you do get power in the start position then I would suspect the starter solenoid.

Yeah, go from unlock to deadbolt a few times to get all the locks going in sync.

the 1994 EWS runs off a micro switch in the front doors, so if one is outta sync or wacked by a 6 year old closing it while his dizzy mom is locking the door it can confuse the EWS
