    Default Vogtland Springs - e34

Any body have any experience with these? On another site they said the were good quality. I want to know how bimmer.info feels about them.

Also, a seller on Ebay has them. Can they be trusted? I've heard of imitation Tein lowering springs being sold on the 'bay but do they knock-off Vogtlands? Thanks in advance!

What are the side effects of cutting the bump stops?

It's to make up for the lowered travel of the suspension.

you cut @ 1 inch off, so you don't hit the bump stop too early on lowered cars.

I have Vogtlands on my Audi and Eibach on the 525, I may not be exactly comparing apples to apples but I would say I prefer Eibach's ride quality. I'm satisfied with Vogt considering the difference in price, but I'm just happier with the Eibach.
