Default What I'd been working on today... must see!

This is my buddies E30 M3 I built the MegaSquirt 2 Extra ECU for it and he had some questions and confusion with some of the wiring so I went out today to do what I do. About 10 mins of my looking stuff over found a couple wiring faults and some setting issues, click click, vroom.

It's truly going to be a menacing car - its a 8.9:1 compression S50US engine with a T3/60-1 big housing turbo top mounted with 3" exhaust. We're running my standard choice of 440 cc injectors, MS2/E, etc., and man, this thing is going to be a lot of fun!

Those are forgeline rs comps - they are track wheels they actually don't have a cover available. The "RS" normals do, but the owner may sell the wheels, maybe to me, in the future.

Wiring faults in the new harness. The car had been running the motor NA, but it is a S50 motor and so they swapped in the 413 or whatever ECU, so it ran like a stock motor would. Then they got the turbo and all on and so we had to mutilate the harness and run our own. I left the owner and his buddy to wiring the ignition system, but it was wired in a little mixed up, no big deal. I got there today, sorted it in about 15 mins soldered and we fired it up

Always hate to see one of these cars swapped...But, I'm sure it's an absolute hoot.

    Diggin' the Forgelines.
