    Default E34 carpet removal

i'm stuck at the plastic trim thingy near the bottom door sill (at all the 4 doors) - how do one remove those without breaking it.

i have slipped a putty kinfe in from the inside but it feels stiff on the verge of breaking.

where are the clip tabs located - is there some pictures on the web with this trim piece taken off?

Do you mean the ones that sit on top of the carpet?

They slide forwards or backwards and pop off fairly easy if you've got room.
