OT: transformers
if you havent seen it yet, DO IT! it totally kicked ass. a few BMWs got destroyed however, a few E38s and an E12. I think GM funded the whole damn movie because every car you saw was a GM product of some sort. not to mention they have that whole transform your ride thing going on now.
also i did get my style 19s on. man the car looks a lot better. didnt have time to get pics or wash her today. ill have some up soon.

I could be mistaking but wasn't the original car transformer a vw beetle, not a camaro or whatever that was?
I heard the bmws came from the hurricane flooded areas and were already destroyed.
Saw a neat e36 (i think) near the end of the new Die Hard movie

yea bumblebee was a beetle but like i said. I think GM funded the whole damn movie. Besides, how the **** would a beetle make a cool superhero/robot? It was a good way for GM to show off what the 09 camaro will look like. Neat I guess but i think the hood is too damn long.

I just got back from seeing it the second time. This time at a drive-in ... which sucked because it was a tad cold.

The reason bumblebee wasn't a volkswagen is because VW does not allow their products to be protrayed as war objects, and they don't allow war-like toys to be made with their cars. This is also why Jazz was a Solstice instead of a Porsche.
Also, Barricade was a Mustang, the only non-GM car in the movie (aside from the Peterbilt).

Jazz should have picked the nicer looking Saturn Sky RIGHT NEXT TO the Solstice.I can't stand the Solstice's styling.
