pic request PLEASE!! coolant temp sensor '94 525i

I am getting the dreaded "fluctuating temp gauge" and I can't find the sensor to check/clean the contacts. Help a brotha out!!

Her ya go bro - items 13 & 15 are the two temp sensors. One connects to the ECU and the other goes to the dash cluster.

Seem to recall both connectors have the same number of pins so you might not want to mix them up. Mr BMW seems to have thought of this and colour coded the one on the left blue on mine.

I suppose that I should have said that I have already looked at that diagram, but I still can't find it. I was hoping that someone would have a real pic of the sensor's location. Is it under something, obscured from view??

It's on the side of the head, start at the oil filter, and work backwards along the left edge of the head:
