What Reference Color is This ?

Hi,

Well, my baby is "Diamant Schwartz Metallik" (Sprächen sie Deutsch?), but the doors' window frames aren't. And I noticed on white E34s that this color is black.



So how do I paint this ?

181 = diamantschwarz = diamond black metallic , BMW color number 181.

Yes, I have that (I bought the small bottle with the brush on the cap). But I insist, the window frames are not that color.

Window frames (at the B-pillar) are all semi-gloss black, like the Shadowline trim pieces. They're intended to make the pillar disappear into the windows, not blend with the body color.

Window frames are not diamante......., they are in fact black. I've never considered painting them to match, but it might look good. Do you have painting experience/ Access to spray equipment? A source for well matched diamante paint? If not, consider taking to a good body shop.

Oh, missed your initial question (I think). I don't know the color code for the 'black' if thats what you're after.
