Default About the EAT chip from the group buy... :-D

Okay, so I just got it today, pretty much dropped everything and ran out to the car to get the DME. Put it in... step 1, the car starts. Phew. Glad to get over THAT hump... Step 2, take it for a spin!

As promised, it's first-rate. Much smoother and livelier acceleration. Pretty smooth torque curve all the way up the tach (I did manage to get it up to about 5500). The car blasted off whether it was standing still or going 50, and smooth shifts all the way up.

The only difference from the stock chip I don't like (and I don't think it's that much of a problem) is that the downshifts are a little harder, so it makes the car jump a when braking hard. However, when you brake easy, it downshifts as smooth as can be.
