Sports seats problem

my drivers seat decided it doesmt want to move backwards and forwrds any more.The seat base still goes up and down,and tilts(all same switch) but not backwards and forwards.Are these functions all driven by seperate motors?I cant imagine some multi output gearbox,but whoknows.I will have a look this weekend,but just wondering if somebody could give me a heads up what to expect
