I've been fairly pleased with East Coast Exotics in Yorktown. It's a little bit of a drive for you, but the mechanic has a good reputation. Honestly, I've only met him once. Drop off the car in the morning, it's done that afternoon.
So does anyone on here know of any good BMW shops in the VA area? I just moved here from Michigan, and i don't have a clue of any "trusted" ones.
I know DIY, and now i have a garage....but something on this car need real service...
Also, any shops with a "renta car" service would be good too.

I would probably go with one of the folks in your bmwcca's chapter bmw newsletter. But that's just me.
Sports and Imports in VA Beach is good- AFAIK. The guy who runs it- Mike Robinson is a really nice guy and knows BMW's. Not sure if Aaron is still working there, but he used to be on the E30 boards quite a bit- young guy who knew his way around a BMW....

I'll 2nd the nomination for Mike Robinson and his gang at Sports & Imports. Also check out Bob Brochu and the team at Atlantic Autowerks on Virginia Beach Blvd. Both of these shops are strong supporters of the local BMWCCA, know BMW's inside & out, and do great work. Mike at East Coast Exotics is also very good on BMW's but as ElNormo said, it would be a bit of a drive for you. Welcome to the area!

Thanks with the help guys! Hopefully things run smoothly. This area is SO much BETTER than Michigan.. I have no AC and black leather, thats not fun.
