as in the engine dies? Mine did this a while back a few times before my transmission was replaced.... it may be an issue with the autobox
This usually occurs after highway/fast driving (i.e getting off the highway and stopping at a stop sign/light).
Something with the throttle?
Thanks in advance

Yes, the engine dies. I have to shift into park and restart.
Please don't say the transmission!
Could be the idle control valve.
Give it a clean and see if it's any better.

Do I clamp the hoses (do I need to clamp em?) that go to the ICV, remove the ICV, and clean (with carb cleaner)?
No need to clamp the hoses. They carry air, not coolant.
Yes, remove and clean with carb cleaner.

if you can slightly push on the gas to keep the idle up.. then definitely the ICV.

and Idle Control Valve?
It is worth considering.
