    Default Aux fan: Replaceable brushes?

Aux fan: Replaceable brushes? Actually need info for e30 but principle should apply equally to e34.

Fan spins freely but no go. 250k mi so brushes are suspect.

I remember seeing a post somewhere on this. Pretty sure it is on this forum, it looked fairly labor intense though so I just got a used fan on ebay. Mine is still working a year later. If you want to find I'd suggest searching blower motor or similar terms and see what you find.

I got some rubber trim stuck in my fan. Blew out the resistor for the low speed. There are two resistors you should test. Of course you tested the fuses first right? If you turn on air condition the fan spins low speed all the time. That way you could tell if its high speed resistor if fan spins with air on. I am in no way an expert on this but this was my recent experience. Resistor for BMA was about 25 bucks.
