easy enough to test the solenoids, you can ohm them but it's just as easy to shoot power and hear them click
hey guys i have posted my trans problems on here before i think i have it narrowed down to the solenoilds the trans has been rebuilt by me also i thought possible the valve body i messed up on so i hade that done by a very good BMW guy here in town and a new trans computer replaced i am wondering is there a test to see if they acutally work(solenoids) or just the ohm test and if there is any place to just purchase the solenoids

all america wants is cold beer warm cat and a place to take a poop with a door on it
i guess where or how do you shoot power thru them and if they are bad where can you get new ones? dealer only?
i think you need to pull the valve body and apply current directly to its electrical harness at the right locations.
