What's the approx. range of the remote?

Does the remote suppose to lock/unlock the trunk also?

When I lock the car via the door locks, it won't lock the trunk. What do I need to do?

this is what mines does. Classic german engineering.
NOt sure what the benefit of doing it this way is.

Yes, I have on more than one occasion left the trunk unlocked with valuable stuff inside. It's only a matter of time until someone check my trunk and loot it.
