Default Anyone have a bad M50 bosch alternator?

I need the frames so I can powder coat it and swap my alternator in it.

LOL... Sounds like you are doing a Harley Davidson's version of E34... Ya know... with all the chromes and blings in the engine zone.

I could probably get you one at the local pick your part. Sometimes a bmw with m50 shows up. Lots of older ones.

    I'm heading down there Friday.

$50 from vines, or go around to the local alternator rebuilder. that frame is pretty common, somebody should have a burned out one that they could sell you.

You might try buying a core from the parts house or if you have a rebuilder nearby.
